Meat cutters must have one critical thing. A desire to serve! Our ministry is based on the concept of servant hood. Women and men who have never cut meat are welcomed and desired. There are plenty of chores to do that do not involve cutting meat. We will need packers, wrappers, grinders, boxers, labelers along with the meat cutters, and skinners. We will also teach you how to cut meat, and skin. Each team needs to consist of 16 people and no more that 20 if you plan to stay at our supplied housing. We do ask that children under 13 not be included as a member of the team. They may come and assist as long as they are able to conduct themselves in an appropriate manor. We do this so that each team has at least 16 able bodied people.

Housing

There are two separate housing facilities available. One at the meat cutting site with 4 bunks, bath and, kitchen. The second is at the Martindale Baptist youth house, with 3 rooms and 2 baths.

Cooking arrangement

We are prepared for you to cook your meals at the processing facility on the Avoca Ranch site. Pacto con Dios will supply and cook the meal for Friday night but all other meals and snacks are to be supplied by each team. We will have a cooler of water and coffee on premises.

Items to bring

Sleeping gear (bed roll, pillow, blankets, ect), Toiletry, Towel, Food for meals, Snacks, Drinks, Disposal able Paper goods, Sharp Knifes if you have them, Sharpener if you have it, Bible, Notepad, and a servants heart.

Items Not Needed

Electronics, pots and pans, No Alcohol or firearms.

Please remember to dress as though you are representing Our Lord.

Friday
12-1 pm arrive at the Avoca ranch in San Marcos Texas unload and get organized.
1-6pm skin and process deer.
6-6:30 clean up for supper.
6:30-7:30 supper.
7:30-8:30 clean up.
8:30-10:00 Pacto presentation and devotional.
10:00-11:00 clean up for bed.
11:00-lights out.

Saturday
7:00am to 8:00 Breakfast and cleanup.
8:00 -12:00 Deer processing
12:00-1:00 Lunch
1:00 until finished deer processing.
