Where are you going to go when you die?

What a question! There is nothing more important than where you are going to spend eternity. If you were to make a graph of your life and it started with your birth and went forever your life here as you know it would be the smallest of small dots in the beginning of a line that never quit. The rest is all after death.

For such an important question we need to go to the place that has the Truth, the Bible. The Bible is completely and totally about where you are going to spend eternity. The first of the Bible is about the Law of God and how it has affected people in the past and how it will affect people in the future. Without the Law of God we would not know that we were sinners.

Romans 3:20 “Therefore no one will be declared righteous in His sight by observing the law; rather we become conscious of sin.”

Did you know that everyone ever born was born a sinner and condemned a sinner? In the book of Romans 3: 23 it says “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”

If we have fallen short of the glory of God how can we ever come into his presents? We owe a debt of death to our Lord and creator for our disobedience of even the smallest of sins.

Now the Lord loved each and every one of us so much that He gave his one and only Son up to bear all the sins of the world. In this act of Love he sent His Son Jesus Christ into this world in the worst of conditions. To live the humblest of lives, to be a servant to all, and pay the price of every sin ever committed. He died the most degrading and painful death.

Now here’s the good part. He did it for YOU! That act of debt that you owe, he paid. How do you receive it? Give your life to him.

Pray “Lord I know that I’m a sinner and have fallen short of your Glory. I ask for forgiveness. I give my life to you. I believe that Jesus Christ paid for my debt of sin by dying on the cross at Calvary. I believe that he arose from the dead and is alive now at the right hand of God. Thank you for loving me Father.

Now where are you going to spend eternity? Well, if you prayed that prayer and believed with your heart then now you will know. If you want more information on salvation look in your Bible. If you need one write us and we will send you one at no charge. Start reading in the New Testament in Mathew and learn things that God wants to help you with. Listen to the Spirit which he has given you as your seal of redemption. May the Lord bless your new life.
